The Annual Policeman's Ball is a glamorous evening celebrating the tremendous work of the APD.  Each and every day the men and women of the Atlanta Police Department go to work and put themselves in harm's way to protect us and our community, and the Ball gives our community leaders an opportunity to show their support and appreciation to the APD.  The Ball was held at the Georgia Aquarium. 

Yes, the annual Ball was held at one of Atlanta's hottest event venues - the Georgia Aquarium-for a sellout crowd of more than 800.  This year's theme, "Set Sail" featured island music and the allure of travel to exotic destinations.  Voyagers enjoyed tropical drinks during the cocktail reception from 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing.  In addition, the silent and live auctions featured the best of Atlanta!  This year's auction packages included experiences at Atlanta's top hotels and restaurants and tickets to Atlanta's most sought-after cultural and sports events, not to mention national and international vacation packages. The producers of this event were Steve Bales of Bold American, Jarbas Periera & Andrea Moreira.  While Profetik staffed Models & Talent!

Andrea Moreira, born into a country of dance and rhythm, this Brazilian beauty began her career in 1988 as a professional ballerina. Later she also became a Latin Ballroom and Brazilian dancer. As part of 'ARTEDANÇA' Professional Dance Company, Andrea performed classical, modern and contemporary ballet pieces from many different and demanding choreographers (Joao Carlos Aur, Tindaro Silvano, Carmen Purri, Tuca Pinheiro).
